Ubadigbo Okonkwo is a passionate advocate of private sector development and youth empowerment. In 2017, he founded the Link Africa Diaspora Initiative (LADI), a non- governmental organization (NGO) aimed at harnessing the contributions of international migrants and diasporans for African development. In 2019, he established the LADI Business Development Services Ltd (LADI-BDS) with a mission to empower entrepreneurs and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the provision of training programs and business development services.
LADI Business Development Services Ltd, a private company limited by shares and registered in Nigeria on 22nd November 2019 with company number RC 1635508.
Objectives
- To de-risk bank lending to MSMEs by the provision entrepreneurial and business management training and cognate advisory services
- To foster the creation of an enabling business environment for the inclusive and sustainable development of Nigeria
- To create public awareness of the beneficial effects of intra African trade, investment and migration for MSME development
- To leverage the role of the internet and digital resources in liberalizing access to skill acquisition and training in Nigeria
- To tackle the fundamental drivers of irregular migration, including extreme poverty, insecurity, and high youth unemployment
- To promote the access of MSMEs to adequate and reliable supply of electricity through the provision of off-grid energy solutions.
